About me
Hi, I'm Jeni - an accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Coach. I offer a warmly direct approach, helping you to cut through the noise and get to the heart of what's holding you back.
By working in a Pluralistic way, I tailor our sessions to suit you, drawing from a range of approaches to find what works best for your unique needs and goals.
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, low confidence, or just have a sense that you're not quite living as the best version of yourself, I will provide a safe and honest space for you to explore what's going on.
This isn't about fluff or endless talking with no direction; it's about making real progress, together. If you're ready to take the first step, even if you're not quite sure what's wrong, we can figure it out.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified and experienced counsellor and coach, but I have also experienced the benefits of counselling in the past. I understand how daunting it can be to reach out - however I also know, from my personal experience, that it was one of the best things I did.
Don't get me wrong...I kissed a few frogs - ie, had a few therapists that just didn't feel right, however when I did find the right therapists and style of therapy it made a huge difference. That is one of the reasons that the intro calls are so important to me. A way to figure out if we fit - if we can understand each other and work together to achieve a common goal - getting you to the place you want to be.
I am a registered member of the NCPS and have experience in anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, relationship issues, and addiction. By working in a Pluralistic way, I tailor our sessions to suit you, drawing from a range of approaches to find what works best for your unique needs and goals.
In addition to my private practice, I volunteer at a local Bereavement Service.
