About me
Hi! I'm Jay,
I am a qualified pluralistic counsellor with a Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice.
Firstly, seeking help or extra support is incredibly brave. I hope my safe space gives you the comfort & the environment you need to start your journey to the best version of yourself.
I am a pluralistic counsellor, I integrate tools and techniques from various therapeutic approaches to tailor my services to your unique needs. I work for two charities - one is in gambling addiction, and the other is for those who have long term chronic health illnesses.
A few areas I work with are anxiety, self-esteem, addiction, long term health conditions, general unhappiness with life, stress & more. I have a passion for helping women with self-esteem issues, we live in a world full of unrealistic pressure from social media that can make us feel like we aren't good enough or not where we want to be and this can be really tough to navigate.
I am empathetic, open minded and I want the therapy session to be a place you feel comfortable in so I will make these sessions as relaxed as I can.
If you have a disability, or need additional needs to make sessions work - please let me know and we can see how we can work around this.
I hold online sessions, phone calls and Face to Face in Kentford, near Newmarket.
I am available Monday and Wednesday Daytime & Friday afternoons. As well as evening sessions & Saturday or Sunday mornings.
