BACP Registered Integrative Counsellor

About me

I help men and adults struggling with anxiety, low mood and feeling stuck  regain clarity and control. I offer face-to-face sessions in Manchester and online across the UK. Currently offering limited availability.

I’m a registered member of the BACP and offer a warm, down-to-earth space where you can talk freely and feel heard, without pressure.

My approach is rooted in person-centred therapy, meaning you’ll be heard without judgement and accepted as you are.

At the same time, I work integratively, so I won’t just sit back and listen. Where helpful, I’ll support you in making sense of what’s going on and finding practical ways to move through things.

This means our work is tailored to you, rather than following one fixed method.

You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your thoughts, or unsure how to move forward.

I support people with anxiety, low mood, trauma, ADHD, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties, as well as those who feel “fine on the outside” but are struggling internally.

If you’re feeling stuck or not quite yourself, we can work together to understand what’s going on and find a way through it.

I have a particular interest in men’s mental health and working with people from communities where therapy isn’t often talked about. I understand it’s not always easy to open up or know where to start, and you don’t have to figure that out alone.

Sessions are available in person or online, and I offer discounted rates for students.

If you're thinking about starting therapy, you're welcome to get in touch to arrange an initial session — no pressure.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
