About me
Hi, I’m Jasmin.
I’m a qualified neurodivergent therapeutic counsellor and ADHD coach.
I created MyBeing Counselling because I wanted neurodivergent people to have a space where they can feel understood, supported and accepted, without feeling like they need to change who they are.
Getting my own ADHD and Autism diagnoses later in life felt like so many pieces of the puzzle finally made sense. Exploring my own neurodivergence through counselling helped me understand myself differently and eventually led me to seek a diagnosis.
That experience has shaped the way I work. I understand how important it can be to have someone who recognises that your brain might work differently, without making you feel like something is wrong with you.
You don't need a formal diagnosis to work with me. Self diagnosis and questioning are welcome.
My integrative approach
I don't see counselling and ADHD coaching as two separate services.
I integrate both within my work, using a neurodiversity-informed approach tailored to you.
Sometimes we may explore the WHY, emotions, experiences, relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, overwhelm, masking, burnout or people-pleasing.
Other times, we may explore the HOW, executive functioning, motivation, procrastination, routines, organisation and managing overwhelm.
Often, it's both.
There is no set formula. Our sessions can naturally move between therapeutic exploration and practical ADHD-informed support depending on what you need.
I won't give you a list of generic strategies and expect you to simply get on with them. We'll explore what works for you, while understanding what may be underneath the difficulties you're experiencing.
Most importantly, you don't need to mask or perform in our sessions.
You can take your time, pause, stim, move around, lose your train of thought or need time to process.
You are not something that needs fixing.
My aim is to help you understand yourself, make sense of your experiences and find ways of working with your brain rather than against it.
Training, qualifications & experience
I’m a qualified therapeutic counsellor with a CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and a member of the BACP.
I have two years’ experience as a counsellor with Mind, supporting clients with a range of mental health and emotional wellbeing needs.
I have also completed an accredited ADHD Coaching Certificate with Barrett Coaching and Training, with a focus on ADHD, executive functioning, emotional regulation, overwhelm, motivation and practical strategies.
I integrate my counselling and ADHD coaching skills within my therapeutic work, taking a neurodiversity-informed approach tailored to each individual.
I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent adults, including those exploring ADHD and/or autism, late diagnosis, self-identification, masking, burnout, identity and self-understanding.
My own experience of discovering my neurodivergence later in life also informs my work and my understanding of self-acceptance, diagnosis and understanding yourself differently.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I offer a warm, relaxed and neurodivergent-friendly therapeutic space, both online and face-to-face.
My work is integrative, bringing together therapeutic counselling and ADHD coaching approaches. I don't offer these as two separate services; instead, I draw on both depending on what feels most helpful for you. Sessions can therefore include emotional exploration alongside practical, ADHD-informed support.
I work collaboratively and at your pace. There is no expectation that you will arrive knowing exactly what you want to talk about or have everything figured out.
I understand that neurodivergent clients may communicate, process and experience sessions differently. You are welcome to take pauses, move around, stim, lose your train of thought or need time to process. You don't need to mask or perform in our sessions.
My aim is to provide a space where you can feel understood, accepted and supported, while developing a better understanding of yourself and finding ways of working with your brain rather than against it.
MyBeing Counselling, a space to understand yourself, not change who you are. 🤍
