MA Hip, UKCP Registered

About me

As a fully qualified and UKCP registered psychotherapist, I offer both short-term and open-ended therapy to adult individuals (aged 18+) and couples. I am currently working online and by telephone due to a recent move to Staffordshire.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained with the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC), qualifying in 2016 with an MA in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy.  At this point I became a full clinical member of UKCP - my membership number is 2011162998. In 2021, I was reaccredited by UKCP - a process that happens every 5 years.

UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Further information

Psychotherapy is about relationship, so it is important that you find the right therapist for you. I therefore offer an initial exploratory session so we can start to get to know each other and to help you decide whether you would like to work with me. You do not need to decide on the spot but can go away and think about it. There is no commitment at this stage.

If you decide to go ahead, we find a day and time that suits us both and a date for us to start and we commit to meet each week.

Just give me a call or drop me an email.
