Janet Busse, MA Hip, UKCP Registered
As a fully qualified and UKCP registered psychotherapist, I am committed to providing psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. Whether you want to work short or long-term, my aim is to work creatively and with integrity, to help you safely explore what is troubling you.
We all at sometime or another reach a stage in our lives when talking to somebody in confidence, outside of our situation, can be of enormous benefit. Psychotherapy is a talking therapy and offers you the opportunity to do just that with someone who is experienced, empathic and non-judgemental. By talking with a therapist, you can begin to understand the events of your past and how they affect you today so that going forward you can choose to do things differently. For many clients this is deeply valuable experience and can have a long lasting effect.

UK Council for Psychotherapy
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Psychotherapy is about relationship, so it is important that you find the right therapist for you. I therefore offer an initial exploratory session so we can start to get to know each other and to help you decide whether you would like to work with me. You do not need to decide on the spot but can go away and think about it. There is no commitment at this stage.
If you decide to go ahead, we find a day and time that suits us both and a date for us to start and we commit to meet each week.
Just give me a call or drop me an email.
