About me
How I can help you
I am a qualified counsellor offering individual and relationship counselling in a warm, supportive and non-judgemental environment. I believe our past experiences and relationships can shape how we see ourselves and respond to others, and therapy can help us better understand these patterns.
I work with individuals and couples experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, communication difficulties, loss, trauma and emotional overwhelm. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, helping clients feel heard, understood and supported as they navigate challenges and create positive change.
I aim to provide a safe space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace.
- Adults - £50 for a 50-minute session
- Students and Counselling students - £30 for a 50-minute session
- Complimentary 30-minute consultation
- I offer a 10% reduction for Blue Light cardholders.
- Relationship Counselling - £65 for a 50-minute session
Relationship Therapy
I offer couples counselling for partners at any stage of their relationship. Relationship therapy is not only for long-term couples or relationships in crisis. We can all bring past experiences, attachment patterns and ways of coping into our relationships, which can affect how we communicate and respond to one another. Couples counselling can provide a safe and supportive space to improve understanding, strengthen communication and explore relationship patterns together.
Creative Therapy
Sometimes thoughts and emotions can feel difficult to put into words. Creative therapy can offer another way of exploring feelings, experiences and self-expression in a safe and supportive environment.
I understand that creativity can be a powerful way of processing emotions, developing self-awareness and reconnecting with ourselves. Creative approaches may include art, sand tray work, writing, imagery, metaphor, reflection and other gentle creative techniques alongside talking therapy where appropriate.
I have completed a six-month sand tray journey alongside additional training at The Sand and Sound Centre in Hyde. Sand tray work can provide a gentle and creative way of exploring emotions, relationships and experiences that may feel difficult to express verbally.
No artistic experience or creativity is needed. The focus is not on creating something perfect, but on exploring thoughts, emotions and experiences in a way that feels comfortable and meaningful for you.
Creative therapy can be particularly helpful for clients who may find it difficult to express themselves verbally, feel emotionally overwhelmed or wish to explore themselves in a different way within therapy.
I aim to provide a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where clients feel safe to explore at their own pace.
Autism aware
Living with autism can bring unique daily challenges. With my Level 3 Autism Awareness qualification, I’m here to support you and your family with understanding, practical guidance, and care.
Struggling with your mental health can feel lonely, whether it’s anxiety, depression, bereavement, ADHD, family issues, low self-esteem, affairs, betrayals, or relationship challenges. You don’t have to face it alone; together, we can explore your thoughts and feelings to help you find relief, clarity, and a renewed sense of self.
To help you decide if I’m the right counsellor for you, I offer a free 30-minute consultation. This gives you the opportunity to discuss what brings you to counselling, ask any questions, and experience working together before committing to ongoing sessions.
I’m a registered member of the BACP and hold an enhanced DBS. I offer flexible online sessions, including evenings and weekends, and a student discount for those in training.
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Counselling, with additional training in working with young people and relationship issues. I am also qualified in trauma-informed counselling and autism.
Taking the first step can feel daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone. If you’d like to explore how counselling can help, I’d be happy to meet with you for an initial chat and support you on your journey toward calm, clarity, and connection.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
