About me
Welcome !! To my page ‘JaneTherapy’
I am a friendly, caring, kind, empathetic, compassionate counsellor and have proven records of recovery with clients. I can offer you 15 mins for free to check that we connect and I can support you with your journey, whatever this looks like.
Life can be overwhelming, and sometimes it helps to have someone who truly listens. I offer a safe, supportive space for you to talk openly and be heard—without judgment.
I am an experienced Integrative Person Centered counsellor and work with people with depression, low mood, anxiety, panic, relationship issues, abandonment, low self-esteem/low self-worth, bereavement, Autism & ADHD. Due to my own previous experience of not being ‘heard’ that I have a full understanding of how important it is to be heard
Due to my experience of working with a range of therapeutic tools, from a number of modalities I am able to work with you with the best approach and with the right tools.
I use an amazing anxiety tool called Colour Technique which is very powerful and can work with emotions. All my clients who have tried this say that it reduces their anxiety greatly.
I work with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, Health problems & pain management, family issues, relationship issues, work issues, motivation, anger management, coping with changes, drug and alcohol addiction, some OCD work, coping with sexuality. I work with clients who struggle with Abandonment, trauma from childhood and adulthood. I can work with clients to discuss marriage or relationship issues.
Work mainly evenings, anytime on Friday & weekends.
At the heart of my practice, lies your empowerment and autonomy. I will provide a safe and empathetic space, where you will be not only heard, but listened to.
I have supervision once a month to ensure I am giving my clients the best possible sessions and therapy they can receive.

I honestly thought she's down this road and there is no way out but since you talking to her, things are changing. She's changing back into her old self. Thank you Jane. You honestly are amazing.'

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
