About me

I am a qualified psychosynthesis counsellor offering a warm, thoughtful, and relational space for adults to explore what feels difficult, confusing, or stuck.

Many of the people I work with are struggling with anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or a sense of disconnection from themselves. Others are exploring deeper questions around identity, belonging, purpose, and direction. They may feel uncertain about who they are, where they fit, or what comes next.

My role is not to provide answers or tell you who to be, but to help you understand yourself more fully, make sense of your experience, and find your own way forward. I aim to offer both support and gentle challenge, creating a space where difficult questions can be approached with honesty, curiosity, and compassion.

I offer sessions in dedicated therapy rooms in Kensington as well as online.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained as a psychosynthesis counsellor and am a registered member of the BACP. Following my qualification, I continued working with clients in a voluntary capacity before establishing my private practice. I have now worked with clients consistently for several years, both during and after my training.

Psychosynthesis is an integrative and depth-oriented approach that supports exploration of the whole person, including emotional, psychological, relational, and existential aspects of experience. It is particularly well suited to people exploring questions of identity, meaning, purpose, and personal growth.

Alongside my counselling practice, I have worked as a teacher, musician, youth worker, and in senior operational roles within business. These experiences have brought me into contact with people from a wide range of backgrounds and continue to inform my understanding of how people navigate challenge, change, responsibility, and personal development.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Other areas of counselling I deal with

Many of the people I work with are trying to understand who they are, where they belong, and how they want to live. This often involves reflecting on family relationships, early experiences, and patterns that developed for good reasons but may no longer serve them today.

Further information

Many people come to therapy because something feels wrong. Others come because they sense there may be more to themselves and their lives than they are currently able to access.

I offer a warm, collaborative space where we can explore whatever has brought you here, whether that is anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, questions of identity, or a deeper search for meaning and direction. Together we can work towards a fuller understanding of yourself and the possibility of living with greater clarity, authenticity, and purpose.

Therapy can be short-term or open-ended, depending on your needs and what feels most helpful.
