About me

I work with clients struggling with anxiety, stress, trauma, depression, ADHD and a range of other presenting issues using a pluralistic approach that draws on psychodynamic, person-centred and cognitive behavioural methods.

I believe therapy works best when it meets the person where they are, not where a particular model thinks they should be. That means I adapt my approach based on what actually helps you, rather than fitting you into a fixed framework.

I’m based in Leeds and offer both online and face-to-face sessions (by prior arrangement). I’m currently taking new clients.

I work pluralistically, which means I draw on multiple therapeutic models depending on what you need. This might include psychodynamic work to understand patterns and roots, person-centred principles that prioritise your experience and expertise in your own life, and cognitive behavioural techniques when they’re useful for managing specific difficulties.

The core of my work is creating a space where you feel genuinely heard, without judgment or agenda beyond your own wellbeing.

I specialise in working with anxiety and stress, though I have experience supporting clients with trauma, depression, ADHD, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem and a range of other concerns. Whatever brings you to therapy, I approach it with the understanding that symptoms often make sense when you understand what they’re protecting you from.

Sessions are 50 minutes and offered online or face-to-face (by arrangement). We’ll start with an initial conversation to understand what’s brought you here and whether we’re a good fit for working together. Most clients find it helpful to commit to a regular weekly slot, though we can be flexible depending on your needs and circumstances.

I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation so you can get a sense of how we work together before committing to paid sessions.
