About me

Do you ever feel stuck in old patterns, weighed down by anxiety, or tangled in relationship challenges? Maybe there are emotional wounds that still need care?

You’re not alone — and I get it. Finding the right therapist can feel a bit like shopping for new shoes: it’s all about the right fit.

I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where we can get curious together about what’s going on — whether it’s relationship struggles, anxiety, identity questions, or just that sense of “something’s off.” My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and occasionally sprinkled with humour — because sometimes a little laughter helps the healing along.

I’m a kink-aware therapist, which simply means I understand and respect diverse relationship styles, sexualities, and ways of being — no shame, no raised eyebrows, just openness and understanding.

With a combined 20 years of experience in therapy and other helping roles, I bring both expertise and genuine enthusiasm for helping people make real, lasting change. I see each person and couple as wonderfully unique — kind of like fascinating puzzles we get to piece together, gently and with curiosity.

If you’d like to see if we click, I offer a free 15-minute phone chat — no pressure, just a chance to say hello and see how it feels.

You’re warmly invited to reach out. Let’s see what we can create together.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

NCPS
National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS)

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
