About me
I bring over eight years’ working experience within mental health and wellbeing services, alongside a background supporting young people therapeutically with Autism & ADHD. I currently work in a senior role and have experience in one-to-one counselling, Coaching, and facilitating a DBT Emotional Skills group. I support clients experiencing relationship difficulties who want to understand their situation, process what has happened, and seek guidance on taking their next step.
I have extensive experience working with individuals struggling with relationship issues and emotional difficulties. I can help with conflict, problems with communication, separation, divorce, loss, anger, and stress. I offer a supportive, non-judgmental space to understand your emotions, make sense of any patterns, and find a healthier way to move forward.
If you are wondering whether counselling might help, an initial telephone consultation can help you decide your next steps. I believe the therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change; therefore, our first session is an opportunity to explore whether this feels like the right fit. Please feel free to send me a message to get the ball rolling!
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a background in Psychology (BSc Hons), and I am trained in person-centred counselling (Diploma) and multi-modality practice (PGDip). I have undertaken additional professional training in DBT skills training, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centred Coaching, and Strength-Based Approaches. I hold a Level 4 certification as a Designated Safeguarding Lead, reflecting my commitment to maintaining safe and ethical therapeutic practice.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I support clients experiencing relationship difficulties, including conflict, breakdown, separation, divorce, and loss. I also support clients with many other issues, such as anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, and life transitions. Using a counselling and coaching approach, together we can start to understand your difficulties, process difficult emotions, and find a way forward with greater clarity.
I use person-centred counselling skills to create a safe and supportive space where we can explore your current situation and difficulties. I often integrate coaching skills to empower you to make changes to your everyday life. I also provide Psychoeducation and place an emphasis on understanding emotions, helping you to explore not just what you are feeling, but why.
