I offer a non judgmental service and adhere to the BACP code of ethics. I offer empathy, honesty and unconditional positive regard, being aware of individuality, working towards Equality and Diversity at all times.

I believe change is possible, I am passionate in supporting others to reach their potential, building trust in the counselling relationship encourages risks to be taken to explore issues that are affecting quality of life, counselling enables exploration of behaviours and builds self awareness, to enable a better quality of life, enhancing self esteem and confidence.

Taking  risks and reaching out asking for support can be difficult and at times we may all need support in exploring a difficult issue, it is a strength to access support not a weakness this enables the person to not feel alone in a difficult situation. You are always the expert of your own experiences, I am facilitating an environment of safety and with the right conditions present such as a non judge mental attitude to support and encourage empowering self and exploring autonomy, change is possible. I provide Humanistic counselling, however I am able to work with the individual, where other theories may be more appropriate, such as CBT. BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
