MBACP Integrative Counsellor and Therapeutic Coach

About me

People use therapy in many different ways. For some, it’s a place to work through specific challenges such as anxiety, low mood, or relationship difficulties. For others, it’s a space for self-discovery, personal growth, or simply having time each week to be heard without judgement. However you choose to use therapy, the focus is always on what feels most meaningful and helpful for you.

I’m an integrative therapist offering online therapy to adults across the UK, as well as in-person sessions in Bristol. I provide a safe, confidential, and compassionate space where you can talk openly, explore the challenges you’re facing, and begin to find a way forward that feels right for you.

Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, so it may help to get a sense of what you can expect in our sessions. You can expect a warm, non‑judgemental space where you set the pace. Together, we’ll explore what feels most important to you. I’ll listen, offer reflections, and sometimes introduce tools or perspectives that might support you. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready to.

Training, qualifications & experience

Counselling is not a one-size-fits-all exercise, so my approach to working with you will be based more on your experiences than on any one single therapeutic approach.

This flexibility comes in large part from my integrative training in both counselling and coaching. This training enables me to blend many different therapeutic approaches to suit your needs. I have taken on clients for both counselling and coaching, and often the most impactful sessions are when I've been able to draw upon different modalities including person-centred therapy, solution-focused work, personal consultancy, and transactional analysis, so that I can adapt to your individual needs. If it feels helpful, I may incorporate therapeutic coaching to support you to navigate life choices, build confidence, or move forward with clarity.

As a counsellor from a minoritised ethnic background, I bring both lived experience and a strong commitment to anti-discriminatory practice. I’ve provided counselling through a Bristol-based charity supporting racially minoritised communities, and this work continues to shape how I hold space in therapy. I aim to practise in a way that’s inclusive, culturally responsive, and open to the richness of each person’s identity. I’m mindful of how race, culture and intersectionality influence our lives, and I strive to offer a space where you feel seen, heard and respected.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
