About me
Speaking to people you know like family or friends can be useful for many problems. Sometimes though you might want help and support from a professional with whatever difficult thoughts and feelings you are experiencing at the time.
I offer a safe space where I bring genuine compassion and understanding to each session. My aim is to help you make sense of your difficult experiences, work with your thoughts and feelings and support you in getting a better understanding of who you are so that you can make positive changes in your life. My approach is one of empathic listening, acceptance and respect of the person for who they are without any form of judgement.
I am fluent in English, French, and Portuguese and bring a wealth of international and cultural experience having lived abroad until the age of 24. This enables me to offer a widened sense of perspective when supporting clients who often feel overwhelmed by life.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a BSc in Humanistic Counselling and I am trained in a range of modalities (Gestalt, Person-Centred and Transactional Analysis).
In addition to my private practice, I have volunteered with two leading mental health charities.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I have a private and tranquil space where I can see you face to face in Sheperd's Bush (close to Chiswick). I also offer online therapy. If finding a therapist in your area is proving difficult, you have a busy schedule, or you would simply prefer to speak with someone from the comfort of your own home, online therapy could be an option for you.
I offer a free 30 mins introductory session online which will give you the opportunity to meet me and get a sense of who I am. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, what your needs are, what you expect and some of your background.
