About me
Finding the right therapist can feel like a big step, especially if you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure where to begin. I am a Clinical Psychologist offering therapy in Chelmsford and online therapy across the UK, providing a calm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space to explore your mental health and emotional wellbeing.
I support children, adults, couples, and families who are experiencing anxiety, stress, low mood, depression, low self-esteem, and low self-confidence, as well as those navigating relationship difficulties, family issues, and life transitions. Therapy with me offers space to make sense of what you’re going through, process difficult emotions, and develop insight and practical ways forward.
I am attentive to the ways culture, society, identity, and early experiences shape wellbeing. I work in a way that honours your background, heritage, and personal identity, and I aim to create a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, respectful, and collaborative.
You may be coming to therapy with a specific concern such as trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), or difficulties linked to childhood experiences, or you may simply feel that something doesn’t feel quite right. Whatever has brought you here, you’re very welcome.
I draw on evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy, tailoring therapy to your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
My aim is to support you to develop greater understanding, self-compassion, and confidence, while reconnecting with what matters most to you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience working across NHS and private settings. I use evidence-based psychological therapies including EMDR, CBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, and trauma-focused approaches, adapting therapy to support individuals, couples therapy, and families.
I have additional training in systemic and family therapy, allowing me to work with family issues, relationship dynamics, and communication difficulties. I also support clients experiencing anger management difficulties, emotional regulation challenges, and the impact of stress on relationships.
Alongside my private practice, I work in the NHS as a Senior Clinical Psychologist, supporting adults and young people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and other mental health difficulties. This role involves working with complex presentations and ensures my practice remains ethical, reflective, and informed by the latest clinical research.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
Areas of counselling I deal with
Other areas of counselling I deal with
I have nearly a decade of experience working with adults, children, and families across a range of health, education, and social care settings.
I specialise in trauma, early childhood experiences, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and how these experiences can impact emotions, relationships, self-esteem, and confidence later in life. This may show up as anxiety, stress, depression, difficulties in relationships, or challenges trusting others.
Therapy with me provides a calm space to explore past and present experiences, reduce distress, and work towards meaningful and sustainable change.
