About me

Hello and welcome! I am an integrative therapist committed to helping you identify your needs and find ways to meet them. I offer a space where you can begin to reconnect with yourself, especially if you’ve spent much of your time caring for others (such as loved ones who are affected by addiction or illness, or an adult child leaving home home). I can support you in facing these or other challenges, where your own needs may have been pushed aside. Together, we gently explore your experience and support you in learning how to care for yourself as well as others.

I currently offer online sessions for adults (18+) via video call and face-to face, providing flexibility and comfort for a real, human connection.

My way of working is integrative, meaning I draw from several approaches: person-centred, gestalt, and psychodynamic. My aim is to meet you where you are. Above all, I believe that the relationship we build together is at the heart of change and healing.

Training, qualifications & experience

Before becoming a counsellor, I spent many years working in the corporate world. Over time, I realised that what really interested me wasn’t the business itself, but the people -their stories, feelings, and what shapes their experiences. What started as a personal interest in understanding people gradually became something deeper, leading me to retrain as a counsellor so I could offer others the space to be heard, understood, and supported.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
