Support with anxiety ,depression, relationships,ADHD

About me

Are you trying to push through the day but feeling overwhelmed and unable to make a change? Anxiety and depression can have different roots, can be triggered by recent events or can stem from past experiences. The stressors could be internal, external or both. I look at the person holistically with the aim of providing safe and empowering sessions.

You might have a feeling of being lost or broken, and the thoughts and emotions become overwhelming. Perhaps you would like a shift and build a stronger relationship with yourself, or it is other relationships that are not fulfilling. You know what you want and that you deserve better but are unsure how to change that.

Perhaps you have lost meaning and purpose and want to work on who you are and where you want to be, to get clarity and direction.

ADHD AND NEURODIVERGENT-AFFIRMATIVE THERAPY

ADHD and neurodivergent-affirming therapist with lived experience of ADHD.

ADHD clients have different reasons for coming to therapy and needs can change with time. Some are at the stage of looking at diagnosis, others have recently had one, or were diagnosed as kids. You are welcome whether you already have a diagnosis, are questioning, or don't use diagnostic language at all. No labels required here.

I'm not here to make you function in neurotypical ways. We look at how your mind actually works, what it has been responding to, and what genuinely supports you. I know how much energy goes into masking and explaining yourself in a world not built with you in mind.

COUPLES THERAPY

I work with couples too, including neurodivergent and mixed neurotype relationships. A lot of couples come not because they want to separate, but because the same conversations keep going in circles and they keep missing each other despite genuinely caring.

We slow those patterns down and look at what is underneath them. Different ways of communicating, processing, needing. The aim is to move from frustration toward clearer communication and renewed connection.

FINDING MEANING AND PURPOSE IN SUPPORTING PEOPLE FROM ALL MARGINALISED GROUPS

I have curiosity, experience and love for working with different cultures, including the impact of cultures one experiences and navigates through. Non-judgmental, sensitive and welcoming to all religions and cultures.

12-step recovery programmes. I am passionate about supporting people in recovery.

Adult children of dysfunctional families. No family is perfect, but if your experiences still affect you and you want to break the cycle, I am here to support you.

Existential work focusing on meaning and purpose. We can get lost in this 24/7 productive capitalist culture and a sense that there is more to life.

Spiritual work. Not attached to any specific practice or religion. Sometimes we might feel drawn to strengthen that connection. Different religions and philosophies can provide extra support and I will support you with what resonates with you.

Marginalised and oppressed individuals in relation to race, ethnicity and beyond. I am fascinated by intersectionality, Critical Race Theory and the social constructs that serve some while greatly impacting others.

Multicultural conflicts and the inner conflict between individual and collective cultures. Having been exposed to both has sparked a love for different cultures. I aim to provide support in a culturally sensitive, informed way, where your voice and experience matters.

Creatives and entrepreneurs, out-of-the-box thinkers who want to build confidence, motivation and focus.

HOW I WORK

I can offer short-term solutions-focused therapy (with experience in NHS settings) and open-ended longer-term therapy that allows for deeper exploration. My approach is relational and integrative, which means sessions are tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals, with a confidential, safe and nurturing space as the foundation of our work together.

I value authenticity and humility and show up as me. Perfectly imperfect, like anyone else. Not a professional in the room.

I believe that you have the solutions inside you and I will be a co-traveller on this journey in a non-judgmental and non-directive way. My approach is also holistic, looking at mind, body and soul as a whole.

I have lived experience of ADHD and different cultures, which helps me connect with different experiences and work with the challenges that come with them.

I work face to face in South East London and London Bridge, and also offer online therapy.

GETTING IN TOUCH

I offer a free 15 to 20 minute initial consultation call, just a chance to talk about what is bringing you here and whether working together feels right. No obligation at all.

I aim to reply within 24 to 48 hours and I always reply. Please check your spam folder. If you leave a phone number I will text first to say initial contact has been made, in case my email goes to junk.

Training, qualifications & experience

My work is grounded in integrative, relational psychotherapeutic counselling, with additional training in CBT. I draw from different approaches and adapt the work to each person rather than following a fixed model. A confidential, safe, and supportive space is the foundation of how I work.

I offer both short-term, solutions-focused counselling and open-ended, longer-term work, and I have experience working within NHS brief therapy settings as well as in private practice.

Neurodiversity-focused training & CPD (selected)
Neurodiversity Specialist Training: Affirming Practice for Autism, ADHD, AuDHD, and Dyslexia
Neurodiversity-Affirming Counselling with autistic and ADHD clients
Neuro-Affirming ADHD Couples Therapy: Therapeutic Themes and Interventions
Alongside professional training, I also have lived experience of ADHD, which informs how I work without assuming shared experience.

I work in private practice in South London and London Bridge, and also offer online counselling, which many clients choose for the comfort and flexibility of being in their own space.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

I came to this profession through experiencing the value of therapy and the change it can bring. Many years ago, through my own therapy and then my training, I just loved the experience and what new worlds it can unfold. The support and awareness was invaluable. It was the best journey I took towards myself. I always wanted to empower others and could not resist training in that. I am curious by nature and have degrees in industrial management and design, but empowering others creates meaning. It is the greatest privilege to be invited into people's worlds and create meaningful changes together.

Therapy at its best is not about being fixed. Because even though you might not feel it, you are perfect and complete. This is a space that is genuinely yours, where you can be confused, contradictory, funny, angry, lost, or all of those at once. A place where you don't have to perform wellness or arrive with the right words. You are welcome here exactly as you are.

"From awareness comes choice, from awareness comes integrity, and from awareness comes deep and loving responsibility to keep choosing the path that leads to your most authentic origins. Begin to love yourself so much that all you are living aligns and reflects that love. This, you deserve." Sarah Blondin
