About us
You may know that something in your life needs to change, but not know where to begin.
Perhaps you've spent so long coping, adapting, putting other people first or being who everyone else needs you to be that you've lost sight of who you are — and what you actually want for yourself.
You might find yourself overthinking everything, struggling to say no or set boundaries, questioning your decisions, feeling responsible for other people's emotions, or repeating patterns that you know aren't making you happy but don't quite know how to change.
You may have spent years being the capable one — coping, caring, working, parenting or simply getting on with things — while underneath feeling anxious, exhausted, resentful, lost or disconnected from yourself.
You don't need to know exactly what's wrong before coming to therapy. Sometimes you simply know that you don't want to keep living in the same patterns anymore.
How I work
Much of what we think, feel and do isn't random.
The ways we relate to others, seek approval, avoid conflict, doubt ourselves, put our needs aside or struggle with boundaries can be shaped by our earlier experiences and the ways we've learned to cope, protect ourselves and belong.
Some of these patterns may once have helped us. But we can reach a point where the things that helped us cope begin to restrict us.
My role isn't to tell you who you should be or what decisions you should make. Instead, we'll become curious about what's happening beneath the surface — identifying the patterns shaping your thoughts, feelings and choices, understanding where they may have come from and exploring whether they still belong in the life you want now.
From there, we can explore your identity, needs, values, boundaries, relationships and self-worth, helping you reconnect with your own voice and become clearer about what you want moving forward.
The aim isn't to turn you into somebody different. It's to help you understand yourself more deeply, trust yourself more fully and make choices based on who you are, rather than automatically living from old patterns or expectations.
Who I work with
I particularly work with women experiencing:
Anxiety and overthinking
People-pleasing and difficulty setting boundaries
Low self-worth or self-esteem
Identity loss or feeling disconnected from themselves
Emotional overwhelm, exhaustion or burnout
Relationship difficulties
Difficulty identifying or expressing their needs
Repeating patterns they want to understand or change
Life transitions or uncertainty about what comes next
I also have experience supporting clients through grief and bereavement, depression, stress and other difficult life experiences.
Alongside my Counselling & Psychotherapy qualifications, I hold a Level 5 qualification in Understanding Autism and have experience working with sensory processing and developmental differences, including supporting parents navigating the emotional experiences that can accompany these.
What are sessions like?
I am a fully qualified and insured Counsellor & Psychotherapist and a registered member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society.
My approach is integrative and person-centred, meaning our work is shaped around you rather than expecting you to fit into one particular therapeutic method.
Sessions are collaborative and led by what feels important to you. You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what to say, where to begin or what the answer is — we can work that out together.
I aim to offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can speak openly, make sense of what you're experiencing and explore things you may not feel able to talk about elsewhere.
Our work can be short-term and focused on something specific, or we can work together for longer if you'd like to understand yourself and your patterns at greater depth.
