About me
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist offering therapy to adults in East and Central London. I provide a safe, protected space and time to understand what is troubling you, so that your experience can be understood and attended to with care.
I offer therapy to adults (18+) seeking help for a range of issues. These might be described or labelled as stress, anxiety, panic, problems with mood, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, issues with identity, attention, lack of direction or purpose, and beyond.
You may be going through, or have experienced a major life event, change, or loss that has been hard to process. Or your concerns might feel much broader and longstanding. Perhaps you want a space to explore the social or cultural context you have come from or find yourself in.
You might have some ideas about what you are going through and what helps or hinders you, but feel stuck and in need of a helping hand. Or life may simply feel too much, with no apparent reason why and little clarity on what kind of support you need.
I draw on my training and experience in the NHS and beyond to offer a meaningful and effective approach to understanding, coping with, and developing on from your difficulties.
My work with a diverse range of clients and colleagues means that there is also room for us to get to know parts of your identity and life that are important but have perhaps up to now remained relatively unexplored.
Getting in Touch
If you are interested in exploring whether therapy could be helpful for you, please get in touch by email to let me know. We can arrange an initial 15-minute phone enquiry at a suitable time to think together about what is going on for you and what your needs are. There is no fee for this enquiry, and no commitment to continue with me beyond this contact.
If it feels helpful, we can then arrange an initial consultation to explore things in more depth and consider if therapy with me would be a suitable next step.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have trained and worked for a number of years in the NHS and, previously, the Irish mental health sector. I have worked therapeutically with individuals and groups from childhood to older age, across many different cultural backgrounds, difficulties, and needs.
I completed my DClinPsy training with Salomons Institute for Applied Psychology, Canterbury Christchurch University. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I am a Chartered member (CPsychol) of the British Psychological Society (BPS). I practice in accordance with the HCPC Standards of Proficiency and the BPS Code of Ethics and Conduct.
As a Clinical Psychologist, I have training and experience in a number of evidence-based therapies- including Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) and Systemic therapies- all of which inform my practice. I have particular interest in psychoanalytic therapies, including short-term Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT). DIT is recommended in the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidelines, which informs NHS best practice. I am a qualified DIT Practitioner, accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC). I also offer longer-term psychodynamic therapy.
As part of my ongoing professional development, I stay up to date with current research and practice, and undertake additional accredited training. This includes a commitment to a socially and culturally sensitive approach in working with clients.
I have completed an Enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), updated annually.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
