About me

Hi, I'm Holly, my path to counselling has grown out of a range of diverse experiences and layered challenges. Each have strengthened my understanding of others and deepened my empathy and support I bring to my work.

I work in a humanistic, person centred way, guided by you, your pace, your story and your needs. I understand the uniqueness of each individual and draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches to support you. My practice is holistic and trauma informed weaving in transpersonal perspectives and somatic work to foster deeper self connection and healing.

I am a volunteer counsellor for a domestic abuse and sexual violence service supporting survivors in navigating the impact of trauma. In this role, I work with individuals experiencing complex emotional responses, including fear, shame, guilt, anxiety and low self-worth. I provide a compassion space where clients can begin to process their experiences at their own pace.

In addition, I have worked within the NHS providing counselling to staff across a broad range of mental health and emotional wellbeing concerns. My experience includes supporting clients with stress, burnout, depression, grief and loss, and the emotional impact of working in high pressure environments.

I strive to create an inclusive and affirming space for people of all backgrounds, including different cultures, abilities, neurodivergence identities, spiritual paths and LGBTQ+ individuals. I work with deep respect for each person's lived experience.

I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and offer that connection in a collaborative way, working together with each person to support their needs. I offer both short-term and long-term counselling, tailored to your pace and what feels right for you.

I am currently offering counselling exclusively online, providing an accessible space for you to engage in your journey from where ever you are.

If you'd like to explore working together, I offer a free 30-minute consultation via Google Meet. It's a chance for us to connect, talk about what you're looking for, and see if I'm the right counsellor for you.

You're very welcome to email me to arrange a consultation or to ask any questions you may have.

The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
