UKCP-registered Psychotherapist & Clinical Supervisor.

About me

At The Wave Clinic, my home-based practice in West Sussex, I provide a safe, confidential, and compassionate space for adults, couples, and young people to explore their experiences and work towards healing and growth.

My approach is embedded in trauma awareness and humanistic values, whilst my work is guided by the understanding that trauma, early childhood development and the experiences we have accumulated over many years can shape not only how people experience themselves and others, but also how they connect, trust, and communicate.

This understanding influences every aspect of my practice, including supervision, where I strive to create a space that feels both safe and gently challenging — one in which supervisees can reflect honestly, think creatively, and deepen their confidence and competence.

As a UKCP-registered Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Advanced Transactional Analysis Practitioner and Clinical Supervisor, I draw on a range of therapeutic perspectives while keeping an empathic, relational, and collaborative stance at the centre of my work.

Over the years, I have worked with clients facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, ADHD, autism, depression, menopausal transitions, attachment and developmental wounds, trauma and PTSD, self-harm, eating disorders, bereavement, addiction, and the complex effects of chronic health conditions such as M.E. and CFS.

I have a particular passion for supporting those navigating the lasting impact of early adversity, complex trauma, and health-related challenges. My philosophy centres on compassion, curiosity, and co-regulation — recognising that healing and growth emerge through safety, connection, and the capacity to be seen and understood.

I offer an open-minded, non-judgemental, and supportive space to explore the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that may be affecting your daily life. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, low mood, or unhelpful coping strategies, we can work together to understand your experiences and move towards stability and self-acceptance.

Sessions are available face-to-face at my West Sussex practice or online via Zoom, FaceTime, or phone, offering flexibility and continuity of care. I also offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation to support you in taking that first step towards deciding whether therapy feels right for you.

I aim to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered to move towards greater self-understanding, resilience, and emotional balance at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.

Why Choose Me
I understand that we are only human, and although our minds and bodies are designed for balance, that equilibrium can quickly become unsettled by stress, loss, trauma, or change.

I am a compassionate and empathic Psychotherapist and Counsellor who will work with you to explore and understand what has brought you to this point. In a confidential and safe space, we will make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and find ways to bring clarity and meaning to your experience.

My role is to guide you through your therapeutic journey — to help you make informed decisions, discover more effective ways to communicate, and move towards the change you seek. I believe that we all hold the key to the gateway of our own minds, though sometimes we need help finding it amidst the noise and pressures of everyday life.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about how to move forward, I’d be honoured to support you. Together, we can explore your challenges and find the best approach for your healing and growth.

Sometimes, we all need a little help — we just don’t always know where to find it.
