About me
Feeling stuck, lost, or wondering who you are now?
Perhaps you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed or stuck in your thoughts. Maybe you're experiencing grief, changes in your relationships, or simply don't quite feel like yourself anymore — and you're not sure why.
I'm Holly, a qualified person-centred counsellor and registered member of the BACP and NCPS. I offer a warm, relaxed space where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgement or expectation.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, grief and loss, low self-esteem, ADHD and autism, relationship difficulties, menopause and perimenopause, and significant life changes.
These experiences don't always fit neatly into one box. Grief, for example, isn't only about death. We can grieve a relationship, a stage of life, a future we imagined or even parts of ourselves.
Menopause, identity and relationships
I have a particular interest in the emotional and psychological impact of perimenopause and menopause.
You may feel unlike yourself, find your confidence has changed or notice that emotions, relationships and everyday life suddenly feel harder to navigate.
Menopause often arrives alongside other changes too — children growing up, caring responsibilities, grief, relationship changes or questions about who you are and what you want from the next stage of life.
I also support partners and couples navigating menopause together. Changes in communication, intimacy, mood or connection can be confusing for both people, and partners can sometimes feel unsure how to help while also trying to understand their own experience of the changes within the relationship.
How I work
My approach is warm, genuine and down-to-earth. I won't sit silently nodding, but I won't tell you what to do either. I'll listen, be curious and offer gentle challenge where appropriate.
At the heart of my work is the relationship between client and therapist. You don't need a diagnosis, the right words or a clear idea of what you want from therapy. We can start with what is happening for you right now.
My role isn't to have all the answers. It's to walk alongside you while you begin to discover your own.
And when you arrive, get comfortable — the kettle is always on ☕

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
