About me
Hi, I’m Easter, an integrative therapist supporting adults and children who are navigating anxiety, depression, identity questions, cultural transitions, and patterns that feel stuck or out of your control.
I often describe therapy as driving through a foggy mist. You are in the driver’s seat, and I sit beside you in the passenger seat, not taking over, but helping you see what the fog feels like, where patterns repeat, and how you can gradually regain clarity, choice, and direction.
My approach is rooted in both Person-Centred and Psychodynamic therapy.
- Person-Centred work means I meet you with empathy, curiosity, and no judgement. Creating a space where you don’t have to perform or hide any part of yourself.
- Psychodynamic work helps us explore where certain feelings, fears, or patterns come from, how early experiences may be shaping the present, and what shows up in the therapeutic relationship itself. Often what happens outside of therapy also plays out within our sessions, and this becomes a safe place to understand and transform it.
Being culturally diverse myself, I understand the complexity of identity, belonging, expectations, and the emotional world of moving between cultures. If spirituality or faith is important to you, I can also integrate a Christian-based understanding into the work.
My focus is always on supporting you to reconnect with your true self. The part of you that may have been overshadowed by survival mode, fear, people-pleasing, or autopilot. Together, we create space for you to feel safe, understood, and empowered to make changes that feel authentic and sustainable.
I offer sessions in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

- Identity confusion and self-exploration
- Relationship difficulties and attachment wounds
- Trauma-related experiences
- Immigration/cross-cultural stress, belonging challenges
- Faith-related questions or spiritual wound
What I am particularly skilled at
Working with the Self: Helping clients understand their true self and false self, reconnect with who they are beneath fear, expectations, or survival patterns. Working with clients who struggle to feel "self" or express emotions, including those who say “I don’t know” as a defence or feel disconnected from themselves
Attachment-informed relational work: Exploring how early experiences show up in present relationships, including the dynamics that appear within the therapy space itself
Anxiety & emotional regulation: Helping clients move from overwhelm and autopilot into awareness, grounding, and more choice. Also supporting high-achievers who struggle with pressure, burnout, comparison, and internalised criticism
Cultural identity work: Supporting clients navigating different cultural expectations, belonging, and transitions
Experience with Children & Young People
I have supported children and young people in schools, placements, and private practice, and I understand how deeply parents care, and how overwhelming it can feel when you’ve already tried many ways to help your child, yet the challenges continue.
Many parents come to me feeling frustrated, helpless, or unsure what else they can do. I want you to know: you are not alone in here, and there is nothing “wrong” with your parenting. Children often need a different kind of space, one where they can express themselves safely, slowly, and in ways that fit their developmental stage.
In my work with children, the first priority is building trust. Real therapeutic progress can only happen when your child feels safe, understood, and accepted. This takes time, and every child moves at their own pace. I honour this process and never rush it.
I use a range of developmentally attuned approaches, including play, art, storytelling, and emotion-focused methods in order to help children explore their feelings, make sense of their experiences, and find new ways of coping.
As we work together, I also support parents to understand their child’s emotional world and provide tools or strategies that may help at home.
This is a collaborative process, and together we create a space where your child can grow, feel supported, and regain a sense of balance.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
