About me

Who do I work with?

I work with a wide range of clients who feel, amongst other things; anxious, stressed, overwhelmed and/or depressed, as well as clients who feel they can't say 'no' and who may often have the feeling they are not good enough. I also work with clients who have experienced emotional neglect as a child.

Your journey through life has brought you to where you are now, therefore it is necessary to unravel it with someone you think you can build a trusting relationship with. As an experienced and qualified Person Centred/Integrative counsellor, I will support you while we work through things together and begin to find a clear way forward. Here is a safe place where you can say anything you need to say, in a kind and non-judgmental setting.

I offer you a warm and caring space where we will work towards your wellness; A place to process and make sense of your thoughts, feelings and emotions. A place where you can find your way at last, putting things back together again in a way that works better for you.

If you feel ready to make life feel better then contact me today. You can discover who you really are and you can work towards positive change for your future.

What to expect from your first session

It can take courage to call or email to book a first initial session and I try my very best to help you feel ok about meeting me for the first time. I work compassionately and without judgment so you can bring anything to counselling, all is welcome, you are welcome.

During our first session I will take a little time to let you know about confidentiality and how I can keep you and your information safe. After that you are welcome to tell me whatever you would like to; why you are looking for counselling, how you are feeling and what has happened to you. You can just go ahead and splurge it all out or, if that feels way too scary, I can gently ask you some questions to help you through the process. At the end you can either book in again or take your time to have a think about whether you'd be happy to work together with me going forwards and then let me know by email.

In our work together I will be patient with you and at the same time I will also encourage you to take time to be patient and compassionate with yourself, for some people that can be a challenge in itself. Steadily, over time, things will move forward, changes will happen and you will look back and understand how far you've come.

Availability:

I offer daytime sessions from 8.30am in the mornings on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays with evening sessions available at 5.15pm and 6.30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Contact me by email, text or phone. For email enquiries please leave a phone number too so that I can let you know I have replied; my emails to clients often land in 'junk mail' , I will drop you a brief text to let you know a reply is waiting for you.
