MBACP Integrative Counsellor

About me

You might be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck—perhaps overthinking everything, struggling to switch off, or feeling like you’re holding things together for everyone else while quietly finding things difficult yourself.

You don’t have to face that on your own.

I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can begin to make sense of what’s going on for you. Somewhere you can talk openly, explore your thoughts and feelings, and start to understand patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck—all at your own pace.

What is Integrative counselling?

Integrative counselling means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, tailored to you as an individual. Whether you’re dealing with something long-standing or more recent, our work is shaped around your needs, your goals, and your story.

Together, we can begin to build a clearer understanding of your experiences, helping you feel more grounded, more self-aware, and more able to move forward.

New to counselling? You’re in safe hands.

Starting therapy can feel daunting—especially if you’ve never spoken about how you’re feeling before. Many people I work with come to me feeling unsure, worried about where to start, or concerned they won’t have the “right words.”

That’s completely okay.

I offer a supportive, welcoming environment where there’s no pressure or expectation. You don’t need to have everything figured out—just a willingness to begin is enough.

I offer a free, no-obligation initial phone or video call, so you can get a sense of how I work and see if I’m the right fit for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP)

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I offer 50-minute sessions, usually once a week at the same time each week. Having that regular space can really help us build consistency and trust as we work together.

The relationship between us is central to how I work — feeling safe, understood, and genuinely connected can make all the difference in your journey.

You’re not tied in to commit to a certain number of sessions — you decide what feels right for you, and we can review things together as we go.

I also know that life doesn’t always follow a schedule, so if you need something a little different, I’m happy to talk through what might work best for you.

Feel free to reach out to discuss your requirements — I’d be glad to explore how we can make counselling work for you.
