I am trained and work as a person centred counsellor in a confidential, relaxed and safe environment in the Elgin area of Moray. I am a Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and follow their strict ethical codes of good practice.
I offer confidential, face to face, person centred counselling which is a different experience for each client as we are all unique individuals. My aim is to accept you as you are, to hear and understand you, and enter into a therapeutic relationship that is real and genuine in which I can help you to identify your issues and resolutions. I offer a safe place to explore feelings and emotions in a non-judgmental setting.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Diploma in Person Centred Counselling and I am currently working towards accreditation.
I hold an ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) Certificate.
I Hold the BACP Voluntary Certificate of Proficiency and appear on the Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists which is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.
I have worked effectively with many different client issues in the voluntary sector and in my private practice and within large organisations and within agencys.
My work includes private clients, GP Referrals, Student Counsellor at RGU Aberdeen, Moray Council Employee Assistance Provider, I also undertake work for The Meningitis Trust.
I work with individuals 15 years and over.

My fees are £40.00 per 60 min session with concessions for students, and discounts for people on low income.
Discounted block Bookings are available, 6 sessions £220.00 (paid in advance).
Evening and weekend appointments are available.
Offices in Elgin town centre or in Fochabers in a peaceful, rural area within 15 minutes of Elgin town centre both with free parking.
