About me

You’ve spent years putting others first - being the helper, the peacemaker, the people-pleaser - but inside you’re emotionally exhausted and left wondering why, despite all your efforts, you feel so alone.  Maybe you’re struggling with anxiety, feeling burnt out, invisible or like you're constantly walking on eggshells; I want you to know it doesn’t have to stay this way.

I work with individuals who feel like they put in so much more than anyone else, whether at home, with friends or at work; the dependable ones who’ve become so good at tending to others that they’ve lost touch with who they are.  My clients often live their life wearing a brave face but underneath they are wondering why their life doesn’t look how they imagined and they long to receive the love and care they show to others.

In our sessions I‘ll provide a calm, caring and steady space where you can speak openly and honestly, this will be your time to put down any pressure, take off the mask and share how you truly feel.  Together we will explore what’s weighing on you, what you long for underneath and what’s getting in the way.  I listen deeply and I genuinely get it because I’ve walked a version of this path myself.

My clients often say they feel able to be their full selves with me, this can bring a sense of relief and things often shift from being truly seen.  At the end of our work together my clients have often reconnected with themselves, this leads to positive effects on their relationships with others, on who they attract into their lives and how their lives look.

Therapy with me is a space where you can breathe, figure out what you actually want and start moving toward peace, freedom and a way of living that feels more like you.

I provide face-to-face, online and telephone counselling. Face to face sessions are held in the Southend-on-Sea area. Sessions run for 50 minutes and are charged at £65, payable in advance.

I offer a free 20-minute consultation call prior to our first session to enable you to ask any questions you may have before committing to a paid session.

If the above resonates and you’d like to learn more about working with me then book a free consultation via the button at the top of this page, alternatively feel free to call or email me on the details provided.

I look forward to speaking with you.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
