About me
Helen Chance-King.
How are you today? ........ It isn't always easy to know how we feel and to honestly answer the question.
My style of therapy is to see you as an individual, to develop an effective working relationship that promotes better mental health.
I can offer you therapy that is personal to you, that helps to meets your needs.
If you have any questions I offer a no cost initial telephone or video link call. This gives us both a chance to have a chat and see if working together feels the way forward. There is no obligation to work together after this initial conversation.
I work between two centres, Hereford city centre and in the market town of Abergavenny.

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

A step by step program that will support you to achieve your goals, to prioritise areas of your life, to help with your motivation to see life through a different lens.
This is a different process to counselling, more goal driven. This process will help you focus on the place you want to get to and the changes you may have to to make in order to make your goals a reality.
We work on a one to one /couple basis, in person or via video link.

I offer telephone and video link counselling, Zoom. Easy to set up if you don't already use this way of communicating.
I am offering a new service. Walk and Talk. I like the idea of taking the therapy session into the outdoors. The areas surrounding Dorchester and Weymouth offer the ideal setting for a different way of therapy to happen in nature.
I offer coaching for parents. Whether you are considering becoming parents or or are fully immersed in family life, these workshops are designed for education, support and practical advice. Please check my website or ring me for more details.
