About me
HELLO AND WELCOME
I am a fully qualified and accredited Counsellor working in private practice supporting adults. There are many reasons why people might look to a private Counsellor for support - most important, is that it matters to you. As a trained Counsellor, my role is to listen empathically and help guide you through whatever that may be, in a safe and supportive way.
BACKGROUND
Following 8 years serving and supporting families in the mental health sector, I work now as an independent Counsellor for adults age 18 upwards at The Ridge Practice.
I previously held roles at Everlief Child Psychology, a large clinic for children up to 19 years old and my additional role as a bereavement volunteer with Cruse Bereavement Care enabled me to support individuals who have suffered loss through bereavement.
At The Ridge Practice I also offer eco-therapy sessions which encompass walk and talk therapy outside in the open air where The Ridge Practice is located, in the beautiful village of Bledlow Ridge in the Chiltern Hills.
HOW CAN I HELP?
I offer face to face counselling for adults at my private clinic along with online (Zoom) and telephone counselling.
At the Practice you will enter a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space where you can talk at your own pace, discuss difficulties and challenges and explore thoughts and feelings in more depth to help you get the best out of life. I am here to listen, empathise, encourage and help you to resolve and understand personal, social or psychological difficulties. Examples may include: worry and anxiety, depression, low-mood, relationship difficulties, motivation, self esteem, self-harm, grief and loss, stress and helping your own child through their therapy.
To talk about how counselling might help you and to book an appointment, please call me on 07500 475073 or email me here. You can also visit my counselling website at www.theridgepractice.co.uk
