About me
Trauma • Anxiety & overwhelm • Low self-esteem & self-worth • Neurodivergent support (ADHD, Autism, AuDHD) • Burnout • Relationship patterns •
You might be feeling anxious, overwhelmed or unsure who you are lately. Maybe you’ve spent years trying to hold everything together and are finally ready to understand yourself more deeply.
How I work
My approach centres on seeing people as whole humans, your past, your patterns, your wiring and what makes you you. I’m warm, honest and genuinely care about what happens for you. I’ll hold belief in your goodness until you can see it too.
I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on what you need. At heart, I’m person-centred, meaning you are the expert on your own life and I’m here to walk alongside you, not ahead of you. Through psychodynamic exploration and working with the unconscious mind, we can look at patterns and how your past shows up in your present. From understanding our history, we can begin to free the present.
I integrate parts work to support the sides of you that feel at odds and motivational interviewing when you’re unsure about change, helping you find your own reasons to move forward in your own time. I also bring in psycho-education where useful, so you can understand your nervous system and make sense of why certain patterns exist given your wiring.
Trauma-informed
Everything is trauma-informed: we go at your pace, respect your boundaries and understand that your coping strategies made sense given what you’ve lived through. Trauma-informed therapy means we move carefully, with respect for your history and the ways your body and mind have learned to protect you.
If you’ve learned to survive by staying on high alert, we’ll take things gently and build safety first.
Rewind Technique
I offer the Rewind Technique, a structured and highly evidenced approach used to reduce the intensity of distressing memories, including trauma, anxiety triggers, and phobias.
It works using guided imagery, allowing the brain to safely revisit and reprocess experiences without needing to talk through them in detail. This can help the nervous system update how the memory is stored, reducing feelings of threat or overwhelm.
The approach draws on principles of memory reconsolidation and is used within trauma informed practice, including in settings such as the NHS.
Neurodivergent lens
I’m neurodivergent myself and bring a neuro-affirming lens to everything we do. I understand sensory overwhelm, executive-function battles and the exhaustion of masking. Many of my clients are ADHD, Autistic or AuDHD but this understanding shapes how I work with anyone as there’s no “right” way to be here.
If you’ve spent years feeling like you have to squeeze yourself into neurotypical boxes, therapy can become a space where you don’t have to perform or explain.
Who I work with
This approach suits people who want to go deeper than coping strategies. Many of my clients are in their 20s and 30s, figuring out who they are, how to do relationships differently and how to build a life that actually feels like theirs.
Around half my clients are men and I really value that work. I understand how ideas about masculinity can make it harder to ask for help or show emotion. There’s space here to explore what it means to be yourself without having to perform or prove anything.
You don’t have to have the perfect words, just a willingness to start where you are.
Next steps
If any of this resonates, I’d love to hear from you. Reaching out is often the hardest part, and I’ll make the rest as straightforward and supportive as possible.

The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
