About me
I offer online and in-person counselling, working primarily with neurodivergent individuals.
How I can help:
Are you struggling with low mood, anxiety, depression, feeling stuck, or with managing and making sense of being neurodivergent? If so, I can help you feel to understand yourself better, think clearer and feel more positive about your life.
I work with teenagers, young adults and adults, primarily neurodivergent individuals or those who are newly realising that undiagnosed neurodivergency may be behind some of the challenges they've faced. You may be facing challenges with transitioning to university or work, relationship difficulties, dealing with significant changes in your life, working through bereavement, or feeling a general sense of emptiness and stuckness. Whatever your personal situation, I offer a safe space to talk through the issues you're facing, and thoughtful support to help you process emotions and make decisions that feel right for you.
What will sessions involve?
I generally offer 50-minute sessions where you have space to discuss your issues. I offer psychodynamic counselling or integrative counselling and in our initial consultation, we can discuss which approach feels the best fit for you. Psychodynamic counselling thinks about how our early experiences influence how we relate to others, ourselves and the world around us. Through understanding the patterns that we can find ourselves repeating, and having space to process our emotions can help us to move forward and find new ways of relating. Integrative counselling combines elements of psychodynamic counselling with coaching, mindfulness and solution-focused approaches where we may spend time identifying goals and thinking about strategies that can help you to move forward.
Sessions normally take place online via Zoom (or WhatsApp or phone). If you would prefer in-person counselling please get in touch, I have limited availability in Frome or Bath.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
