About me
Welcome.
If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted, you’re not alone. Life can be incredibly demanding, especially when you’re carrying the weight of past trauma, relationship issues, burnout, or low self-esteem.
Perhaps you’re navigating a major life change, struggling with intrusive thoughts, or feeling lost in your own identity. You might appear “fine” on the outside, but inside, it’s a different story.
I want you to know, it’s okay to ask for help, and change is possible.
I’m Hannah, a warm, experienced, BACP-registered integrative counsellor. I work with people experiencing a range of emotional difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, people-pleasing, and relationship patterns that feel hard to break.
I offer a calm, non-judgemental space where you can feel safe to slow down, explore what’s going on underneath the surface, and start to feel more like you again.
Sessions are available in person (Ascot/Sunninghill or Farnborough), online, or outdoors, whatever feels right for you.

Background and Experience:
I bring a unique background to my counselling practice that includes ten years of experience working as an outdoor sports coach specialising in open-water swimming. Over the years, I've witnessed a growing trend of people turning to outdoor activities like swimming as a means of improving their mental health. This firsthand knowledge has made me keenly aware of the powerful connection between nature and mental well-being. I have coached and supported many individuals taking on ultra-endurance events and challenges. This was where I found my passion for the mind-body connection. These additional skills of helping support people overcome great mental and physical challenges give my practice an added depth of understanding around empowerment, resilience, and personal belief.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
