Everyone needs someone to talk to…to run through thoughts feelings & emotions about difficult situations in our lives. Sometimes with those who are close to us, it can feel ‘too close', to have heartfelt conversations as we may feel fearful of judgement or don't want to ‘burden’ them with our emotions.
As a qualified person-centred counsellor & psychotherapist, I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) working under their ethical framework. I offer a safe, confidential & non-judgemental space for you to be as open & vulnerable as you feel to be.
As humans, we are all so beautifully complex, so I working integratively, meaning I utilise a variety of approaches based on your individual needs. Within this flexible approach, we would work together, to explore the thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviours that are negatively impacting your well-being. You will be supported on a collaborative journey towards a perspective that sheds new light on your sense of self, clarifying any difficulties & empowering you to find solutions.
The ideal outcome is that you develop a strong sense of self, allowing you to find happiness & balance in all aspects of life. An independent journey to a better way of managing your mental wellbeing.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
