About me
No matter how you started or where you're headed, It's tough being a man today. If just reading that feels like asking for a fight nobody wants… you’re in the right place. So let's talk about it.
We’re finally creating space to challenge or discard outdated scripts, and in the process, leaving behind some messy gaps, with very different opinions on how to fill them. What “being a man” even means now has never had a more varied or deeply personal range of answers, or such a need for safe, inclusive places to explore what that question means to you.
I offer counselling for "men of all kinds." It sounds like a guest list based on anatomy. It isn’t. But it is an invitation. To own and understand why some of us need help. To forgive, and be forgiven, and finally heal. To learn how to fix what was broken and replace it with something better, something made wholly from you.
And to recognise how fortunate we are, if we have people in our lives who can walk that journey with us… but that it’s not fair on them to be expected to lead it. Or on any of us, to expect ourselves to do it alone.
But we can do it together.
Training, qualifications & experience
I draw from a range of disciplines and techniques, but the foundation of warmth, honesty, understanding, and client autonomy is always the same. In sessions, we go where you lead, and often just having a space to talk about whatever you'd like is enough. For clients who prefer more structured sessions, we build a workshop on this foundation, and create adaptable tools according to your goals.
