About me

Welcome,

I have a few online / video and telephone session places now available for local, UK and international clients. Drawing from our discussions, two Masters degrees and 13 years of experience I will blend methods to match and meet your unique needs.

The breadth of my six year training and a first career in business and education mean that I can also offer assistance in many subject areas that are not on the main list (see 'other areas' list below), this includes Executive & Entrepreneur Development. I have many years of experience of working with clients online with excellent outcomes.

I am passionate about mental health and wellbeing and often act as a consultant to the media in these areas. I have been the featured expert in articles for Metro, Grazia, i-D and Huffington Post.

You can contact me via email using the 'message me' button on this page. Please also feel free to text or Whats App if you prefer. The nature of my role means that I cannot always answer the telephone straight away but if you prefer to call and you happen to get my answer machine please leave your contact details and the best way and time that I can get back to you. Privacy guidelines mean that I am unable to return calls that do not leave a message.

I can then offer you further information, arrange an initial discussion or book our first session.

Best wishes, grace

MEMBERSHIPS

I am a Registered Member of the BACP and a Member of the Association for Coaching.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.
