About me
Sometimes difficulties we experience in our lives and relationships can feel overwhelming or out of our control. We may wonder why we react in certain ways or why problems seem to repeat themselves. Or we may just need some holding when life gets bumpy. I provide a space where you can feel held and deeply understood, where you can bring all parts of yourself without judgement. I can help you to explore where and why patterns of thinking, feeling and behaviour may have formed, and support you to release their grip to bring about the changes you need.
As a couple I can help you understand the dynamics at play between you, to work through difficulties productively and to improve connection.
Please have a look at my website for more information about the way I work.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am trained in Counselling and Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy, and have completed additional training in Couples Counselling. As well as being fully accredited by NCPS, I am also a UKCP trainee psychotherapist. I work integratively, tailoring therapy to the individual/couple and their needs.
I am also an Occupational Therapist and have worked across adult mental health and physical disability settings. I bring a wealth of experience from this to my psychotherapy practice and I welcome clients who are impacted by disability and life-limiting illness, either themselves, or as carers and loved ones.
