About me

You might feel stuck, anxious, or unsure why certain patterns keep repeating in your life. Perhaps you find relationships difficult. Therapy can offer space to make sense of what’s happening and to find steadier ground.

I offer a warm, confidential space where we can explore your thoughts and feelings. Together, we can begin to understand the roots of your difficulties, make sense of strong emotions, and work toward lasting change.

My approach is psychodynamic, which means we can explore how past experiences influence the present — often bringing awareness to patterns that no longer serve you. Alongside talking therapy, we can integrate art when words feel limiting; creativity can offer another way to express and understand what’s going on inside.

The objects or images made in therapy can hold special significance. The creative process can ground the work of therapy, giving shape to feelings and memories that might otherwise remain fleeting or hard to grasp. No artistic skill is needed.

By fostering a more compassionate relationship with yourself it can help you feel more connected, confident, and at ease in your relationships and in life.

If you’d like to find out more, we can arrange an initial session to see how we might work together.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified Art Psychotherapist, with experience in child and adult mental health, end-of-life care, bereavement, and education settings. My practice is informed by ongoing CPD, group support, and my own art practice. I offer a confidential, non-judgmental space where everyone is welcome, and no previous experience with art is needed.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
