I'm an HCPC registered psychotherapist who helps mums and mums-to-be with anxiety issues.
I recognise that there are times in your life that can make you feel anxious, overwhelmed or isolated. By talking through your worries, fears and hopes in therapy, you can begin to make changes for the better.
How I Can Help
Although it can feel incredibly rewarding to raise a family, achieve career success or be the go-to person for those in need, these responsibilities can sometimes be at the expense of your own well being.
You might have felt anxious about something for a long time or perhaps it is a more recent problem. There might be particular issues causing feelings of anxiety, stress and low self-confidence.
These may include:
- generalised anxiety disorder
- family issues
- antenatal anxiety or postnatal depression
- social or health anxiety
- trauma including birth trauma
How I Work
Sharing your problems in a safe, confidential space can help you to better understand your feelings and where they may have come from. We can then work together to find manageable ways of addressing your anxieties.
As well as a space to talk, you can also work creatively. This may involve using art or story, or focussing on the body working with movement. You don't need to have any experience of working creatively and it is your choice to work in this way.
Where I Work
I offer in-person therapy at my clinic space in Fitzrovia, central London, where I am an Associate.
I also offer online/telephone counselling, which is ideal if it is difficult to find time for therapy as there is no travel required.
Starting Therapy with Me
I understand that it can be difficult to make time for yourself and you may be unsure if therapy is for you.
A consultation will give us the chance to meet and discuss your issues further. You can ask me questions and get a feel for what therapy with me would be like. There is no obligation to commit to therapy if you have a consultation.

I bring a wealth of work and life experience to my practice.
As a therapist I have lived and worked internationally in Asia, supporting women in both diplomatic and local communities, and have spent many years working with families in schools in the UK.
I am also a trained creative, clinical supervisor.

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
Health and Care Professions Council
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
