About me

How I Can Help

On the outside, everything appears 'fine,' and that is often what you will say if someone asks how you are.  But on the inside you feel anxious, overwhelmed and isolated.  Sometimes you can be surrounded by people but still feel alone and like no one will understand.

Whatever is going on for you - perhaps it is a recent event or past experiences affecting your present life - we can work towards finding manageable ways to deal with your problems.  Restoring your self-confidence will have a positive impact on you, your family or work life.  You may feel less hopeless and better able to enjoy your life in the present moment, instead of fretting about the future or feeling stuck in your past.

Sometimes the weight of your anxiety can make it difficult to put your feelings into words.  There are ways of expressing yourself creatively in therapy, such as through art or movement work, which may also be helpful, if this is something you would like to explore.

I can help with:

  • anxiety and depression (including social anxiety and postnatal depression)
  • trauma
  • feeling sad
  • childhood anxieties
  • family issues
  • parenting
  • miscarriage and loss
  • difficult birth experience

I am an experienced therapist, counsellor and clinical supervisor, which means you are in safe hands. Over 13 years I have worked with adults, children and young people.

I have also lived and worked overseas, supporting families in both Diplomatic and local communities.

You can contact me for further information by email or by phone 07513 781001.

Clinical Supervision

I am a clinical supervisor with an online private practice.  I am trained to work across modalities, and my experience includes supervising therapists, counsellors, head teachers, school governors, social workers and perinatal practitioners.  I use a combination of talking and creative methods to support my supervisees.  (I have a separate supervisor profile which provides more details).

About You

Are you suffering in silence?  This can feel incredibly lonely.   Sometimes talking to those close to you can feel difficult.  You may worry about their reactions or the affect it might have on your relationship.  Therapy can help by giving you a space away from your everyday life to talk about what you are feeling, what you need, and what might help you feel better.

These feelings may be affecting your life through lack of sleep, eating too much or too little, being irritable with those around you, or constantly frustrated at yourself.

Perhaps you are finding parenthood challenging or work stressful, and face difficulties balancing your home and work life. This can create feelings of guilt if you think you are giving more time to one than the other.

Your relationship may be suffering due to your low mood or maybe you find yourself losing your temper with your partner or young children, which can make you feel worthless.

Pregnancy or parenting may be bringing up past feelings of anxiety from your own childhood, or perhaps your birth experience was not as you expected and you feel traumatised by the difficulties or decisions you faced.

I understand how debilitating it can feel when you don’t know where to turn. You don't have to do this alone.  It would be my privilege to help you.

Starting Therapy

You may be unsure about starting therapy or have questions.  Asking for help can feel daunting, but it is an important first step to feeling better.

A short phone call or full length appointment will give us the chance to meet, to ask questions, and talk about how therapy with me can help you.

Where I Work

In-person appointments take place at my clinic space in Fitzrovia, Central London.

Online counselling, via the Zoom platform, or telephone appointments are ideal if it is difficult to find time for therapy as there is no travel required.

Therapy by email is also available if writing is your preferred method of communication, or committing to a regular time slot is difficult.

For more information about my services or to book an appointment,  please contact me at or phone 07513781001.
