About me
Hello my name is Giovanni, I’m Italian and lived in UK for 40 years.
After three decades in the hectic competitive corporate world I decided to devote myself to my real interest: the complexities and struggles that make us Human.
Following the eight years of rigorous study and training required by the MA and the Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapy from Middlesex University and BCPC I am now a fully qualified Humanistic and Integrative psychotherapist and a registered member of UKCP.
My biography, academic studies and clinical practice steered me towards a strong interest in working with young people and their struggles in the vulnerable stage of life they go through.
If my life experience provides me with the grounding to engage with Adult’s Traumas and Anxiety, the work with young people inevitably lead me to deepen my studies and clinical experience in the work with Neurodivergence, specifically ASD,ADD,ADHD, addiction and the relational complexities of the work with couples.
I believe that safety, empathy, understanding and trust are at the core of the therapy I offer .
In the privileged space formed by the relation with the therapist you are allowed to explore and overcome the anxieties and the fears that often preclude the healthy processing of traumas or complexities.
Once challenging and painful feelings are allowed to emerge and expressed, the healing begins.
As your choice of therapist is very important I offer an initial free telephone consultation for you to decide comfortably.
As I believe that the powerful benefits of therapy should not be exclusive, I offer a few low cost spaces for low income clients

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
