Note: I only offer sessions by phone, WhatsApp or Zoom video.
Hello, I'm Gillian. I've worked in mental health for over 20 years, 6 as a counsellor.
I specialise in working in self belief including narratives created in childhood, understanding messaging we may have received from caregivers and how that affects how we live now. I also work in relationships including family dynamics, divorce, affairs, marriage, conflict with family or friendship groups, break ups, communication, attachment styles etc. I work with individuals only - I do not offer couples therapy.
You'll find me warm, open, flexible relaxed and completely non-judgemental. My main aim is to create an accepting space where we can explore anything you wish to share.
I offer Telephone or Zoom appointments:
•Monday 9am - 6pm
- Tuesday 9am - 8pm
- Wednesday 9am - 8pm
- Thursday 9am - 6pm
- Friday mornings on request

Advanced Diploma in psychotherapeutic Counselling.
Accredited member of NCPS.
I have worked in private practice for 5 years and below are some of my other roles over the years.
- Rape Crisis - volunteer helpline worker
- NHS - Crisis worker for victims of sexual violence
- Carr-Gomm - Mental Health Worker
- Adullam - Support worker/Homeless Support
- Womens Aid - Domestic Violence Worker.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Standard rate - £45.00 For 50 minutes
Payments by bank transfer . Sessions can be weekly/fortnightly or whatever feels right for you. I see clients aged 18 years+.
