Gill Wharmby BA (Hons) Dip HE
My name is Gill and I'm a fully qualified Person-Centred Counsellor based close to Bishops Stortford, Stansted and Saffron Walden. I work in my own private practice, where I can offer you a safe, confidential and welcoming environment for your counselling.
I work with people of all ages and I have a specific training for working with Children and Young People.
When life becomes difficult, sometimes the distress we feel can make it hard to make sense of our world and the way we are and feel in it. We may be troubled or confused about our relationships or unsure about what life choices to make or the best way to cope.
Counselling offers a space where you, can begin to understand you better and make sense of your life. You can explore the reasons why you may be feeling the way you are and what you might want to happen or change. It can be a deep and powerful process and making the decision to begin counselling is a courageous first step.
I can help you begin your process.
I am a member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and work according to their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions and Competences for working with children.
I work with both primary and secondary age children.
