About me
I am a psychodynamic counsellor based in Chelmsford town centre, a few minutes walk from the train station.
Seeing a counsellor is never an easy thing to decide to do, no matter what your reasons for deciding to begin. Whether it be for your own personal issues, bereavement or simply a need to talk to someone to put oneself in a better frame of mind to tackle tomorrow. Modern life is full of challenges that at times are too difficult to be tackled alone or in silence.
Through counselling I offer a confidential and safe space for you to speak openly and freely without fear, judgement or hesitation. Together with compassion, respect and through a mutual working relationship we will aim to understand how things are for you now and how to move forward into a brighter and more positive future.
Everyone who enters into counselling does so for their own deeply personal reasons. Although it can be scary and daunting together we can create an experience that not only increases your own self awareness, but can also help to bring you to the understanding that you need to build a stronger you. In our first session we will discuss what has bought you to counselling and what your hopes are moving forward.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
