About me
Do you need to talk? Feeling anxious, stressed or stuck? Finding your mood is low and you're feeling overwhelmed a lot of the time? I work in a gentle, supportive way, helping you to explore what you are finding difficult and to try and find new ways forward.
I have experience of working with a range of issues including depression and anxiety, including post-natal depression and anxiety, struggles adjusting to parenthood, work stress, problems with confidence or low self-esteem, divorce, bereavement, domestic violence, self harming and relationship difficulties.
My approach is rooted in Person Centred Therapy, meaning you are at the heart of the sessions. Working in an integrative way my approach is often informed by developmental and attachment theory. I have been trained in a combination of approaches including Transactional Analysis, CBT and Psychodynamic. I can tailor my way of working to meet your needs and during our first session we can explore what you are hoping to get from the sessions.
Working in a compassionate, open and transparent way, I will provide a calm and reflective environment through which we can be curious and explore whatever it is you need to bring. Working together, we can review how you live and relate to others, both now and in the past, to enable you to make sense of how you are feeling and why. This will be your space to be listened to, accepted and heard.
If you have any questions please do feel free to contact me or if you would like to arrange an initial assessment appointment get in touch. Please contact me by sending an email here. You can also call me on 07980706418 if you would prefer to leave a message or speak to me first.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
