About me
Do you need someone to talk to?
Are you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, low in mood, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel helpful? You might be going through a life change, struggling in your relationships, or simply feeling that something isn’t quite right.
I offer a warm, gentle and supportive space where you can explore what’s been weighing on you, at your own pace. Together, we can begin to make sense of what you are feeling and find new ways forward that feel right for you.
I have experience working with a wide range of issues including anxiety and depression (including postnatal), difficulties adjusting to parenthood, work-related stress, low self-esteem, relationship problems, separation and divorce, bereavement, trauma, domestic abuse and self-harm. I am particularly passionate about supporting women and parents through periods of change, overwhelm and emotional difficulty.
My approach is rooted in Person-Centred Therapy, meaning that you are at the heart of our work. I also work integratively, drawing on developmental and attachment theory, as well as elements of Transactional Analysis, CBT and Psychodynamic therapy. This allows me to tailor sessions to your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
I aim to offer a calm, compassionate and non-judgemental environment, where you can feel safe to be open and explore whatever you need to bring. Therapy with me is your space to feel heard, understood and accepted.
I offer a free 15-minute introductory call, which gives us both the opportunity to see if I am the right therapist for you and for you to ask any questions before committing to sessions.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
