About me

I am an HCPC registered and Chartered Clinical Psychologist (DClinPsych) with 20 years of experience. I previously worked in NHS adult primary care and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) as well as in private practice in Harley Street and Canary Wharf.  I am the author of two parenting books published by Penguin and regularly appear in the media.

I currently work privately with adults, parents and young people both face to face and online.

From overcoming anxiety, stress, struggle and overwhelm to developing a sense of resilience, confidence,  calm, and meaning, it is my absolute passion to support individuals to navigate life's challenges and to truly grow and thrive. I know we have all the solutions and knowledge within us, but sometimes we need support to help unlock this inner wisdom.  I will help to facilitate a space so that you can access your own inner guidance. I can provide you with a toolkit of transformational tools, strategies and resources.

I draw on a wide range of approaches which I will tailor to you and your individual needs, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) (based on mindfulness), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR (this is particularly good for past traumas).

I am committed to providing a supportive, grounding, compassionate space so you feel safe to explore your experiences. I work with clients who are curious about understanding themselves more deeply and willing to take responsibility for real transformation and change. For this reason, I don't tend to do long term therapy (1 year plus), but shorter term therapy as I am committed to seeing change in the clients I work with. My clients see me for an average of 3-12 sessions and many of those clients continue to see me for many years for a follow up or another series of sessions.

If you resonate with me, reach out to me with a description of what you're looking for support with and we can see if I'm an appropriate fit.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have worked as a Clinical Psychologist within NHS adult and Child and Adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) as well as in private practice for over 20 years.

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Associate Fellow registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health Professions Council (HCPC).

I am also interested in alternative approaches including  meditation, breathwork, somatic approaches, sound therapy and psychedelic therapies.
