About me
Hello and welcome. I offer long and short term therapy face-to-face in Hackney Central, East London or online nationwide. My aim is to help identify patterns of behaviour which may no longer serve you, and help you relate better to yourself and the world around you.
I have extensive experience of and enjoy working with anxiety, depression, sex and sexuality, trauma, gender identity, work stress, diverse/poly relationships, neurodivergence, bereavement, suicidal ideation and self esteem. In addition, I enjoy working with diaspora and immigrants as well as many other presenting topics.
Trained as an integrative therapist drawing from psychodynamic, transpersonal, and humanistic perspectives, we'll examine how your past, present and future intersect. Together, we'll unravel the threads of your life story and help you make sense of it in a way that feels relevant and relatable.
Psychodynamic insights allow us to explore the unconscious patterns and emotions that may be influencing your life. Together, we delve into the depths of your psyche, shedding light on hidden aspects of yourself.
Transpersonal elements invite us to explore the spiritual and transcendent dimensions of your experience. This can be a transformative journey, helping you connect with a deeper sense of purpose and meaning.
Humanistic principles underpin our work, emphasising your unique potential for self-actualisation and personal growth. I'm here to guide you on your path toward self-discovery and fulfilment.
I am trained in and offer trauma work. The Rewind Technique is a short-term, therapeutic approach used to treat trauma-related symptoms and distressing memories. I was trained in this therapy by the originator, Dr David Muss. Please contact me for more information.
I was drawn to therapy following a career in suicide prevention. I am motivated by my clients' inner strength and aim to empower them to reach their full potential and live true to themselves.
I was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland and have lived in East London for 14 years. I continue to work and volunteer in suicide prevention and also teach suicide prevention and awareness to therapists.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
