About me
Hello, I'm Gemma, and I'm passionate about offering a warm, non-judgmental space where you can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself, something that's often missing in a world focused on doing. Finding the right therapeutic relationship is essential to your success. I offer a free 30-minute introductory call so we can see if we're a good fit - no pressure, just an opportunity to connect.
My approach is integrative, which means I draw on different counselling theories to suit your unique needs. No two people are the same, and our work together will reflect that. At the heart of my practice is a humanistic approach, where you can explore your experiences and tap into your own capacity for growth.
Before training as a counsellor, I worked in customer service for 20 years, developing strong listening skills and empathy. Supporting people through difficult conversations sparked my passion for counselling and deepened my belief in the importance of being truly heard. I have experience working with clients managing addiction, as well as working in person and online.
I'm a registered member of the NCPS, which means I adhere to professional ethical standards to ensure you receive safe, effective support.
Starting counselling can feel daunting, but I'm here to walk alongside you, wherever you are in your journey.
