About me
I am a qualified Counsellor\Psychotherapist with a degree in Integrative Counselling. Being an integrative counsellor means I use different approaches to suit individual needs. I specialise in the Psychodynamic and Person-Centred model.
We all need help from time to time as all the pressures of life can sometimes overwhelm us. Whether you have a specific issue, or are feeling disconnected from life and experiencing disharmony with your identity, the inner conflict you are experiencing can manifest itself in anxiety and ill mental and physical health, I am passionate about working with the connection between mental and physical health and fully embrace a holistic approach, discovering or reconnecting with your authentic self and embracing your uniqueness, brings the awareness that can lead to a healthier, more autonomous and fulfilled life, to the life you want to be living!
Exploring and working with how the past influences the present and challenging deeply entrenched beliefs we hold about ourselves, can help with unhealthy patterns of thinking and behaviour, that might be causing low self esteem, anxiety, stress and impacting on all aspects of life, including relationships. Through our therapeutic relationship, I can offer the empathy and safety you need to explore your feelings, I can accompany you on your journey to find the answers you do have within you!
I have experience of working with a range of client issues and a wealth of life experience, however, it is my belief that our therapeutic relationship is fundamental to enable insight and growth, so if you would like to see if I am the therapist for you, please get in touch. I can see you at the Wellbeing Centre in Chepstow or from my practice at home in the tranquil surroundings on the edge of the forest. I see adults individually or as couples.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
