About me

Hi, I’m Gabrielle, a qualified and registered Integrative Psychotherapist with a psychodynamic focus, and my private practice is called Kismet Psychotherapy. The foundation of my therapy is a profoundly simple belief: that healing starts when you are supported to embrace your most authentic self. I believe therapy is less about finding solutions and more about meaning-making, feeling truly seen, and reclaiming your voice.

I offer a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can delve into your story, uncover patterns and themes, both past experiences and current difficulties and progress toward authentic self-acceptance and growth. My approach is collaborative, deeply relational, and tailored toward you as an individual.

How I Work

As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of approaches to tailor the therapeutic experience to effectively address your individual needs. Therapy with me is never “one size fits all;” it’s a collaborative journey we shape together. Sometimes gently, and at other times with bravery, which may bring discomfort, but it is always rooted in understanding and respect for your journey.

Specialisms

I work with a wide range of areas, with particular focus on:

  • Trauma and complex life experiences: offering safety and grounding on the path to healing.
  • Toxic/narcissistic family dynamics: supporting clients to set healthy boundaries and, where needed, navigate going no contact.
  • Anxiety, stress, and depression: restoring resilience, clarity, and calm.
  • Life transitions & identity exploration: neurodiversity and chronic illness; navigating change with confidence and compassion.
  • Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity (GSRD), LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy: creating an inclusive, validating space for all identities.
  • Fertility journeys: as an Accredited Infertility & Rainbow Baby Specialist, I provide support through infertility, pregnancy loss, and the unique experiences of welcoming a rainbow baby.
  • Transition Focused Therapy (TfT): my copyrighted, award-winning, gender-affirming therapeutic process, developed and successfully trialled within clinical settings in Harley Street.

Next Steps

Choosing a therapist is a big decision and a deeply personal choice, where finding the right fit matters. If you feel ready to explore your story, heal past wounds, or embrace a more authentic life, I would be honoured to walk alongside you as you step into your most authentic self. If you feel drawn to explore working together, feel free to contact me for a free initial consultation.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified psychotherapist and registered member of NCPS, BPS, WPATH, EPATH, BAGIS, IFL and Doctoral Trainee UKCP & BACP and I maintain my practice through ongoing training, research, and professional development. I am also an Autism Assesor and I am currently completing my Doctorate/Phd in Counselling Psychology.

My work has received international recognition through the creation of Transition Focused Therapy (TfT), an innovative therapeutic process designed to support clients through identity and gender-related transitions for gender affirming medical care (GAMC).
