Further information

Gabriella completed an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling in 2014. Before this she was working full time as a Hypnotherapist.

Gabriella is trained in a range of techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, Person Centred Counselling, Hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. She recently completed a diploma in Addiction Therapy and PTSD. She is a certified Clinical Trauma Professional.

She has experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, families, the elderly and disabled via the mediums of telephone, video call, web chat and email. She is ACTO registered and abides by their code of ethics for online counselling. She also follows the ethical framework of the ACC and NCS.

Whilst Gabriella has experience working with a broad range of issues she specialises in depression, self-harm, stress, anxiety, OCD, addictions, bereavement and relationship problems. She also takes a personal interest in nutrition and herbal remedies due to her former work as a Nutritional Therapist.

Her original motivation to become a Psychotherapist was because she had encountered a number of challenging situations in her life. She firmly believes that it is this lived experience that enables her to understand and empathise with her clients.

Gabriella will provide a safe space for you to explore difficult thoughts and emotions, change negative thinking patterns and learn new coping strategies. If necessary she will work with you to heal your past and overcome any self-defeating behaviours.
