About me

I am a Humanistic Counsellor and psychotherapist with a passionate commitment to supporting people through life’s challenges. Drawing on Person-Centred Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt approaches and attachment based psychotherapeutic counselling,  I help clients uncover insight, develop resilience, and reconnect with their authentic selves.

My passion for mental health and addictions has shaped my practice and fuels my belief that change is always possible, no matter how stuck or overwhelmed life may feel. I see counselling as a space where the weight of silence can be lifted, painful patterns can be explored, and new possibilities for living more fully can emerge.

I bring warmth, empathy, and challenge into the therapeutic space. With a Person-Centred foundation, I create safety and acceptance; with Transactional Analysis, I help clients make sense of the stories and scripts that shape them; and with Gestalt Therapy, I encourage awareness of the “here and now” so that healing can become embodied and transformative.

I work with a wide range of issues, anxiety, ADHD, addiction, depression, grief, trauma, relationship struggles, identity, self-worth, and life transitions, always with the aim of helping clients feel seen, valued, and empowered. Whether you are facing addiction, emotional pain, or searching for deeper self-understanding, my role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and hope.

I work from my therapy room in Datchet. I offer online and telephone therapy.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
